Q: How many colors can the machine print?
A: It is a four color machine. Four colors printed in one run. No running the material through twice.

Q: What is the maximum printing speed?
A: Around 100 m/min at the top end, though where you actually land depends on the material, the ink, the print design, and whatever else is going on in production that day.

Q: How does the machine control material tension and alignment?
A: It has an EPC web guiding system with air shafts and an inbuilt tension controller to keep everything on track. Between them they keep the web running true and the tension steady as material travels through the machine.

Q: What type of printing plate can be used?
A: Both resin and rubber plates work. Thickness (plate plus adhesive) is either 1.7 mm or 2.28 mm as specified — if you need something outside that, just confirm it with us before production starts.

Q: Is a ceramic anilox roller available?
A: It is — as an option, you can get ceramic anilox rollers bundled with single doctor blades and ink pumps.
