Specification

Wide-web ci flexographic printing machine is a central-drum type flexo press purpose-built for printing on laminated woven polypropylene tubular material (PP woven bags, bulk/jumbo bags). It prints 4 colors on the front and 4 colors on the back — 8 colors total — in a single pass. With its precision construction, simple operation, and high degree of automation, the machine can be run by a single operator, and it is widely used for high-speed, multi-color printing on laminated woven materials such as woven bags and jumbo bags.
 

Ci-type 8-color single-pass printing

4 colors on the front + 4 colors on the back, built around a large central impression cylinder. Both sides are printed in a single pass, delivering stable, consistent register and eliminating the errors that come from multiple print passes.

Fast changeover, no re-registration needed

Once the plates are mounted and registered, printing can begin immediately. A full set of 8 plate cylinders can be swapped out in about 40 minutes, with production resuming at full register right away — dramatically cutting downtime.

High-speed online electronic register system

Quantitative electronic register adjustment on the fly, without stopping the press. Initial plate setup and both longitudinal and lateral register can be completed within 5 minutes.

High, stable print register accuracy

Register accuracy of ±0.1mm in both cross and machine directions, with a maximum mechanical speed of up to 350 m/min. Register accuracy remains stable even during acceleration and deceleration.

Full closed-loop tension control

The unwind, rewind, and drying sections all use ultra-light floating rollers for automatic tension compensation with closed-loop control. The press stops automatically on web breaks, and tension is held at standstill to prevent substrate drift.

Q1: What material does this machine work with?
A: It's used for printing on laminated woven PP material — woven bags, jumbo bag substrates, that kind of thing. Works with photopolymer plates and water- or alcohol-based inks.

Q2: How many colors can it print in one go?
A: The satellite-style central drum lets it print 4 colors on the front and 4 on the back at the same time, so 8 colors total, all in a single pass.

Q3: How long does changing plates take, and will it push back delivery?
A: Once the plates are mounted and registered, you're ready to print — no need to re-register. Swapping a full set of 8 plate cylinders takes roughly 40 minutes, maybe a bit more or less depending on who's doing it. That keeps changeover downtime pretty minimal.

Q4: Can you trust the register accuracy? Does it drift once it's running fast?
A: Register stays within ±0.1mm both across and along the web, and that holds true even as the machine speeds up or slows down. There's also an ultrasonic EPC system on board that automatically corrects for substrate drift.

Q5: Do you need a dedicated technician for this? Is it complicated to run?
A: Not particularly — it's a highly automated machine and one operator can manage it day to day. We also send someone to train your team on-site, covering mechanical, electrical, and print process basics, over at least 2 days.

Q6: How long does setup take, and what counts as a successful handover?
A: We send mechanical and electrical engineers to install and commission the machine on-site — that process runs at least 3 days. To sign off, it needs to run 24 hours straight with no faults, and hit a 98%+ pass rate on output.

Q7: What's the typical wait for delivery?
A: This is a standard model for us, so we've got enough parts and materials on hand to deliver in around 100 days without cutting corners on quality. Final timing depends on the contract.
